19.50.0 - released 12.12.2019

  • When searching for templates, quotation marks can now be used to find only templates containing the exact search term. This is useful when searching for two words. Searching for "Word1 Word2" with quotation marks will find all templates that contain both words in this sequence. Without quotation marks, templates containing only one of the words are also found.

  • More suggestions for mentions are now displayed for Twitter channels, as the searched user is not always among the first 5 entries.
  • When more than one channel is selected in the analytics, the result can now also be exported as a CSV file.
  • An alternative text can now be added to images for Twitter and Facebook to ensure accessibility. Facebook posts must have at least 2 pictures for this option to be available.
  • Facebook posts can now contain videos in m4v format.
• Media Library
  • When editing an image originating from the Content Planner, the option to save the original file for later use in the media library is offered.
  • The sorting order of the file list can be set to various properties.
  • Folders now have a preview of their contents.
• Bugfixes
  • The tag analytics can be accessed again (Hotfix).
  • The bulk editing function now switches back to "Done" after the tagging option is used (Hotfix).
  • The category and monitoring insights can now be accessed by users without administration rights.
  • When publishing a post, an "unknown error" was erroneously mentioned below the success message. This is fixed.
  • In rare cases the publisher displayed the text content twice in the preview. This is fixed.
  • Long tweets were shortened and a link to the tweet was displayed. We were able to fix this so that the entire tweet is displayed again (Hotfix).

  • due to a change of Facebook, uploading an image with special or space charaters was not possible anymore. We now implemented a procedure to remove these characters automatically. Therefore posts with images should now be posted correctly once more.

  • If a post fails to get published due to a missing access authorization, an error message with instructions on how to fix it is displayed.
  • LinkedIn restricts the length of the text of a post to a maximum of 1300 characters. This is now checked before publication and a warning message is displayed for posts with more text.

Bugfixes:

• The preview of Instagram posts displays mentions correctly, if the username contains a dot or is longer than 20 characters.
• We switched back to the previous calculation for previous time periods when calculating the response time within business hours.
• In special cases, only admin users could be selected in the bulk assignment feature.

  • Monitoring tickets are no longer included in the general Insights as they can be found in the Monitoring Insights.

  • Videos can now be uploaded for LinkedIn channels.
  • We optimized the workflow for converting a link post to an image post. The link no longer needs to be removed manually in order to upload an image.
  • The publication date of the post is displayed in the Analytics instead of the creation date.
  • Several publishing attempts are made for Instagram channels if the image or video upload fails at the scheduled publishing time. This mitigates temporary difficulties of the Instagram API. Previously, the media file was uploaded to Instagram a few minutes before the scheduled time, which may have resulted in a slight backdating.

Bugfixes:

• The email forwarding function allows the message to be empty again.
• The message of the email forwarding function can contain more than 50 characters (Hotfix).
• In some cases, tickets could in the "My tickets" folder could not be displayed (Hotfix).
