What is SocialHub Employee Advocacy?
Our Employee Advocacy solution enables you to provide your employees with targeted content, promote exchange among them and comprehensively measure the success of your brand ambassador program. The solution is divided into three areas: News Feeds, Team Channels and Analytics.
The aim is to provide you with an all-in-one tool with which you can efficiently and strategically implement employee advocacy in your company.
The big advantage: your team does not need a special app or installation. The SocialHub Employee Advocacy solution works both on desktop and mobile (via URL).

How to add users
You can invite all participants of the program via link. You do not need a SocialHub account for this. However, a LinkedIn profile is required to log in. Users remain automatically logged in until they log out of LinkedIn. Of course, Employee Advocacy Admins do not have access to private LinkedIn profiles. The owners are the only ones who can post on their profiles.
Users are invited via a link and login via LinkedIn.
News Feeds
News feeds allow you to automatically provide news and information from your company that your employees can share on their own channels with just a few clicks. The following channels can be used as sources:
- X (formerly Twitter)
- YouTube
- Substack
- RSS-Feeds
- Keyword search
You can create multiple news feeds on different topics or for different teams. It is also possible to specify in the settings on which channels users can share your content directly:
- TikTok
- X
Special highlight: To make it easier to create captions, you can activate AI support in the news feed. Based on Microsoft AZURE AI, the feature generates suitable text for the article.
In the settings, you can define on which channels the content can be shared directly and whether the AI feature is active.
Team Channels
Team channels offer your brand ambassadors the opportunity to exchange ideas directly, obtain feedback on content or discuss suggested topics. It's an ideal place for sharing, even across multiple subsidiaries that don't have shared access to Teams or Slack.
Just like with news feeds, you can set up multiple team channels for different departments, locations or specific topics.
In addition to text, users can also share media that might be interesting for contributions. The following formats are supported:
- Images: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF
- Videos: MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV
- Documents: PDF, DOC, CSV, XLS/XLSX, PowerPoint
- Audio: MP3, WAV, AAC
In the team channels, users can exchange ideas, ask for feedback or share cool social media assets.
Analytics
Our analytics allow you to visualize the success of your employee advocacy program. You can track KPIs such as estimated reach, engagement, shares, likes, comments and earned media value. It is also possible to create reports for specific time periods. The data is updated daily to always provide you with up-to-date values.
You have several options for adding profiles to Analytics:
- Add LinkedIn profiles manually via URL
- Link your advocacy workspace to all profiles
- Select from private LinkedIn profiles linked to SocialHub
Add profiles specifically to your analytics.
What does CPM mean?
CPM stands for “Cost Per Mille” and describes the estimated value of the media presentation using the CPM costs. We use this value to calculate the Earned Media Value to make the reach of your Employee Advocacy comparable with other marketing activities. You can set this value directly in Analytics.
Manage your CPM value directly in Analytics.
