Adding Alt Text to Images

Alt text (alternative text) is a short description of an image that improves accessibility and helps people understand visual content using screen readers. It also provides context when images fail to load.

In Social Hub, you can add alt text to images for the following platforms:

• Facebook
• Instagram
• LinkedIn
• Mastodon
• Bluesky
• X (Twitter)

How to Add Alt Text

Follow these steps to add alt text to your images:

1. Create a post in Social Hub.
2. Upload one or more images to your post.

3. Once the image is added, click on “Edit image details.”

   

4. Enter your alt text description in the provided field. You can also generate and use the suggestion provided by AI and use this text.

   

5. Your changes will be saved automatically. Once you have finished editing the text, you can close the dialogue box.
