There are two types of "click counts" in the Hub.
"Post clicks" and "Link clicks" - Depending on how the Platform delivers these values, we can show them differently. For "Link clicks" we have a second system, which is active when a "Short Link" is used in the post. (Link-Shortener)
Platform | What’s Measured | SH Link Shortener | Delay |
Link clicks and post clicks Post clicks are clicks on the post that not trigger an action like share, comment or a reaction. |
Initially, we retrieve this value from Facebook If a shortened link is used in the post, we override the platform value with the value from the link shortener |
If a shortened link is present, the metric is updated every 12 hours Otherwise, it depends on the age of the post: up to 1 day: 1 hour |

Why do our metrics sometimes differ from platform analytics?
The platforms never provide us with the values immediately. The data on the platforms is therefore often more up-to-date than our numbers.
Some specific scenarios:
Facebook:
Our definition of link clicks is slightly different from Facebook’s. Facebook defines link clicks as “the number of clicks, taps, or swipes on links within your content, including ads,” covering formats like posts, stories, reels, and videos that lead to destinations on or off Facebook.
LinkedIn:
