To connect a WhatsApp Business number to the SocialHub, there is one important thing to be aware of. Due to the way Meta and WhatsApp interact with each other, it is only ever possible to connect a number either via the "WhatsApp Business" app or via the Meta API and therefore the hub.
In order for a number to be connected, it must not yet be connected to a WhatsApp Business account or the connected WhatsApp account must first be deleted. To do so, you can open the WhatsApp Business app and delete the WhatsApp Business account under "Account". However, all chats will be lost in the process.
The remaining steps can then be completed directly in the hub.
To accomplish this, click on "Add channel" in the hub as usual and then select WhatsApp.
In the following steps, all you have to do is log in with your Facebook account, create a new WhatsApp Business account and create a WhatsApp profile with the desired number.
